me trees

The Indie Rock Summit started in 2012 as a monthly top ten indie countdown. Turns out the editor was too lazy to write hugely detailed reports on ten songs in one sitting (much like the readers were too lazy to read through all the garbage), and in late 2013 we made some changes.

We are an irregular music discovery outlet fueled by free time and the burning need to shove good music down the throats of others. We post tracks both new and old. We talk to bands and write about it. We like to go to gigs and give our two cents. We get stoked about records we like.

I guess you could say a lot of that sounds like reviews. That said, I wouldn’t want to stain the sterling name of journalists worldwide by trying to pass these here posts off as quality writing. I prefer to let the musicians and their music speak for itself.

We love hearing from new acts as well as old favourites and are always interested in helping out those that get us stoked with their tunes. If keen in a possible write up, please send through press releases, Q & A’s, questions and demos to jessedeanlewis@gmail.com.

If you’re a reader, we also love to hear about your favourite tunes and welcome guest content as well as band commentary.
